Seek and ye shall find
In January 2011 we welcomed 25 members of our staff at IPM!
As a game we hid our life- size dibond displays showing key employees across all fair halls. The group returning them to our booth got a surprise and a photo together with the display found.
As usual everyone was able to take home new ideas and to find interesting things.

NOT ONLY FINALIST, BUT WINNER!
It got real on October 29th and developed to be an extraordinary night: we won our first Taspo Award.We are especially proud to be winner in a category with most applications (30): the GIA- online Award for best Internet Presence. Many thanks to all participants who let our site appear like it does today!

Not suddenly and unexpected, not even to be prevented has been our „Good- bye“ to Sandra Ladenbauer. She advised our customers for almost ten years. We are looking forward to seeing Sandra at IPM – sharing good old times…

Get together and have fun...
13 members of our staff visited IPM in Essen. Besides information, contacts and traditional lunch, we had a lot of fun in Denmark's exhibiting area: Cool, Classic, Crazy or Creative - everyone found their own suitable style.
LOAD TEST
Will it hold, or maybe not?
That's been the big question October 1st, 2009 when we had to arrange a load test for our new greenhouse section in Otterstedt.
Structural designer were unsure about that after calculating. To get better results we turned theory into practice and filled up three barrels with 650 l water each.  more...
SILBER PLANTS AT HANSE LIFE
We donated ericaceous plants and Hypericum for an outdoor exhibition at Hanse Life 2009 in Bremen. Our horticulture association took part. Our plants, as well as other plant donations, were presented very skillfully to all visitors.
A BLESSING IN DISGUISE

In May '09 we had a fire in one of our greenhouses in the middle of the night. It was initiated in a switch box. The shade curtain and our cooler caught fire.

Luckily we discovered it right away and were able to extinguish it. Plants being in that greenhouse stayed undamaged (not so the sciarids). Thanks to the great employment of electricians, shade curtains and greenhouse constructors and specialists for coolers all damage was repaired within 3 months!

NEW PARKING AREA
Parking space developed to be rare at our facility. Because of that we built 52 new lots in summer '09. Directly to your left at gate 1 staff, customers and visitors will find new lots. We officially opened this area August 28 with a party.

Playing Musical Chair we gave a special parking lot to the winner.

New Trials
13 different varieties of dwarf hypericum we received from the breeder De Ruiter. We trialed propagating them and the best way to produce them. Finished plants looked quite promising. Most varieties grow compact. There is hardly any need for growth regulator. Also, varieties show a fair resistance to rust.
